"So we know when you take it out, John won't bleed to death because..he's kind of the best man an I'm maid of honour" Torrie spoke with a light giggle.

"I can't say for sure, but I don't think so" The paramedic spoke, getting John's attention.

"Like his life depends on it" The paramedic answered, Torrie just looked before she leaned on John's good shoulder staying close to him.

"When you're done, I'm so gonna treat you" Torrie whispered to John.

"But that didn't even hurt." John said.

"You were talking to Torrie as I was doing it, All I have to do is stitch it up and that might hurt a little" The paramedic spoke.

"Well that went better than I thought it would," Torrie spoke.

"I still can't believe you're here, I honestly thought..." Torrie stopped in her words when John took her hand, while the paramedic stitched up his wound.

Torrie lowered her eyeslashes down "Luckily, what if the bullet hit your chest..?" Torrie asked softly.

John stared until he felt a little shoot of pain in his arm when the paramedic stitched her arm up.

"Nearly done," The paramedic spoke.

"But what if it did?" Torrie muttered with tears in her eyes.

"Torrie stop thinking about what if this happened or that happened." John muttered.

Katie and Randy walked up to John and Torrie.

"Is John okay?" Katie asked with concern in her eyes.

Torrie nodded. "The bullet is out, he's just getting stitched up" Torrie spoke softly.

The Paramedic threaded through, as he stitched the wound up making John's eyes squint softly with a painful look across his face.

"Did it hurt?" Katie asked.

"Not really but getting stitched up does." John said.

Torrie looked at John before she cringed.

"That looks so painful, it sending goosebumps up my shoulders" Torrie spoke as she stood beside John.

The Paramedic stitched up the last one, before he cut the thread and put a plaster over the wound before rolling John's sleeve down. "There you go all bullet free John," The paramedic spoke.

"Oh thank god," Torrie spoke before she gave John his jacket.

"Alright lets go to the reception now." John said as he put his jacket on.

Katie chuckled before she took Randy's hand.

"You sure you're gonna be okay?" Torrie asked as she looked at John.
