Matrimony Madness (planning the wedding)

[Soraya O'Toole]

Soraya O'Toole was ready to chuck the binder she'd designated for wedding plans out the window. She wasn't sure how Candice, Torrie and Katie managed to plan their weddings around everything else. She was struggling even with the most simplest of details.

"Matt!" She whined to her fiance who was in the living room watching TV. "I lied. There's no way I can do all of this, by myself!"

[Matt Hardy]

Matt stood up then walked over to Soraya.

"What do you need help with?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"I can't even pick colors...or flowers." She sighed in exasperation. "And have you decided on who your groomsmen are going to be? I'm assuming Jeff is Best man?"

[Matt Hardy]

"Yes Jeff is the best man and no to the groomsmen question." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

She sighed. "So far I've got Candice, Kelly, Katie, Torrie and Steph for bridesmaids. If Jeff's Best man I supposed I should ask Melina too. And then I have to pick one of them as Maid of Honor...which I'm stuck on. You have no clue who you want standing up there with you?"

[Matt Hardy]

"Well...I'll pick Dave, Evan, Randy, John, and Hunter." Matt said with a smile.

[Soraya O'Toole]

That got her to laugh. "The other's halves of my bridal party." She giggled. "So then what do we do about Shawn? He's going to want to be involved, you know he is."

[Matt Hardy]

"He can be the special guy chained to a chair." Matt joked with a chuckled.

[Soraya O'Toole]

Soraya giggled. "You have fun telling him that."

[Matt Hardy]

"Or you could." Matt said before he sat down on a chair.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Actually," She smiled. "I have a better idea. Since Hunter's going to be in the wedding, he's not an option. But I was thinking, I don't really talk to my father...at all. Haven't since I was eighteen. I'm going to need someone to give me away, think Shawn would be up to it?"

[Matt Hardy]

"Maybe if he doesn't see a squirrel while he walks you down." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Oh come on," Soraya laughed. "Do you think it's a good idea?"

[Matt Hardy]

"Yeah I do." Matt said with a smile.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Okay, then I'll ask him." Soraya smiled. "Now, got a favorite color?"

[Matt Hardy]

"Blue." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Okay, then what do you think of blue and silver for our wedding colors?" Soraya asked.

[Matt Hardy]

"I love it, see you can handle this." Matt said with a smile.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Well," Soraya grinned. "It's easier when I can ask your opinion on stuff. Did I tell you we found the place I want the wedding to be at? Candice was spot on in her suggestion, it's beautiful!"

[Matt Hardy]

"No where?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"It's called the Sleepy Hollow Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. Just wait until you see it. There's this beautiful pond in the back, with real swans and weeping willow trees. It's absolutely beautiful, and there's a Gazebo right by the water where we can stand and have the ceremony. They can accommodate up to one hundred and fifty people. And the rec. hall is all wood paneling and deep romantic colors. It'll be perfect for the reception." She sighed dreamily. "I can't wait for this!"

[Matt Hardy]

"Wow...Candice is perfect with picking places. That sounds awesome." Matt said with a smile.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"She said that was the runner up in the places she almost had her wedding." Soraya grinned. "And we have the carriage house for the wedding night."

[Matt Hardy]

"What date should we have the wedding?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Um," Soraya thought for a moment. "I was thinking, June 7th, maybe? What do you think?"
