Lindsay smiply followed, stumbling a little asshe drug her bag behind her. She clung tightly to a gold locket in her right hand, the letter C engraved on the front.

"John?" Lindsay asked.

Torrie looked at Lindsay.

"Come on honey," Torrie spoke, she then saw the locket.

"Is that yours?" Torrie asked gently, while John got his jacket and slipped it on.

Lindsay turned to Torrie and shook her head.

"It was mommy's" Lindsay said.

She showed Torrie the other two chains she wore.

One held a class ring on a silver chain.

"This was daddy's." Lindsay said.

The other was a ladybug shaped locket.

"This one's mine." Lindsay said

Lindsay looked at John.

"After I go to the doctor, then where are you taking me?" Lindsay asked him.

Lindsay looked at her feet.

She didn't want to go back to the orphanage again.

"Oh." Lindsay said.

"Nobody's ever gonna want me." she thought.

Lindsay eyes lit up as John spoke the word 'home'. She hadn't had a home since she ran away from her last foster parents. She wouldn't tell John why she ran.

"Okay." Lindsay said, trying not to sound excited.

John got to his car then unlocked it and put Lindsay in the backseat.

Torrie touched Lindsay's hand.

"You're coming home with us" Torrie spoke.

She pulled a picture out of her bag and kept in out of John and Torrie's line of vision.

Torrie got in the passenger seat, before she touched John's hand while Lindsay stayed in the back.

John got in the car with Torrie then started driving to the hospital. He looked at Torrie for a second.

"You can turn on the radio." John said.

John stopped the car in shock.

"Where the hell did you come from?" John asked.

Torrie looked at John, before she turned on the radio. The Climb by Hannah Montana came on.

Torrie then turned to watch the rain fall on the windsheild before she gently put her hand on John's hand as he touched the gear.

Lindsay hummed to herself.

Lazy little lady bug fly away home
Lazy little Lady bug, where ever you rome

Lazy little lady bug rest your head
Lazy little lady bug don't you fret
Mommy's gonna love you more that anyone yet.

Lindsay sang softly, a tear streaming down her cheek as she held her mother's locket.

"Ladybug." Lindsay whispered.

She tried to hold back her tears but she started to cry again as she thought of what her mother called her.

Torrie continued to put her hand on John's, before her eyes met his. She then heard Lindsay.

"What was that?" Torrie asked softly.
