Lilian put down her bags, and ran over to Cody.

"Hey darling" She said raising her arms around Cody.

"Yeah, could say that but I am down from 10 shopping bags to...8" Lilian said with a smile.

Cody chuckled, "well that's good for me" he told

"So did you get me anything?" he hinted.

"Gizmo come back here!" Rachel yelled as she ran downstairs after Gizmo.

"That's Cody's favorite pair of trunks!" Rachel yelled as the dog ran out the little door to the backyard.

Rachel ran back in with Gizmo in front of her covered in mud.

"Gizmo you don't listen very well!" Rachel yelled as she chased the dog around the house.

"I mean, I have a few more surprises in store for you besides the dog"

Lilian looked at Cody.

"Dog?"

"What dog?" Lilian asked, until she saw a puppy covered in mud. The adorable dog ran over, and then shook the wet, mud off it's fur making the mud go over Lilian's black knee boots and around the floor.

"Ah!" Lilian gasped stepping back with laughter.

Cody gulped as he managed a weak smile. "Surprise baby" Lilian looked at the puppy and then smiled.

"Aww baby thank you!" Lilian beamed jumping in his arms giving him a kiss.

"His name's...Gizmo." Rachel said as she tried to catch her breath.

Lilian smiled at the new addition to her family.

"Hello Gizmo, he's lovely honey" Lilian said to Cody with a bright smile as she picked up the dog even though he was covered in mud.

"I think someone needs a bath don't they? Gizzy" Lilian cooed as she giggled when the dog licked her face.

"Come on Cody, we'll bath him together" Lilian smiled as she held her hand out to Cody.
