Lily smiled as she heard her name and walked to the room.

"I'm right here Cody." Lily said, sitting down on the bed next to Cody.

She felt around on the bed until she took Cody's hand.

"I'm here." Lily said.

Brianna returned with play thremometer in hand.

"Come here sweetie, open up." Brianna said.

"It's okay, Cody, I'm right here." Lily said, sqeezing Cody's hand a little.

Brianna placed the toy thermometer in Cody's mouth and waited few seconds before removing it.

She turned her back and read it.

Sighing Brianna shook her head.

She left the room for a moment, as she pretendend to go start the car.

"You're going to easy on her." Ryan said. "She's about to start the hospital part, don't be so calm this time." Ryan whispered.
