Voice of an Angel (Carmin, Angel, and Cody)

[Carmin Rhodes]

Carmin walked up to the door of her brother's best friend's home with a smile. She carried a notebook in her hands as she approached the home.

Angel had become Carmin's vocal coach over the past few weeks and Carmin wasready to try her own song for the first time.

Carmin knocked on the door of the home and waited.

Angel sat on the couch with three month old Lacie in her arms as she fed the young infant.

Then she heard a knock at the door and stood up with Lacie still in her arms to answer it.

Angel opened the door and smiled.

"Hey Carmin." Angel said

[Carmin Rhodes]

"Hey Angel, thanks for agreeing to help me with this." Carmin said as she entered the home.

"Wow you've got a really nice place." Carmin said.

[Angel]

Angel smiled as she walked upstairs to lie the now sleeping Lacie in her crib.

"Thank you." Angel said.

"Now let me see these lyrics." Angel said.

[Carmin Rhodes]

Carmin nodded and handed Angel her notebook.

Angel glanced over the lyrics with a smile.

"This the first song you've ever written?" Angel asked.

[Carmin Rhodes]

Carmin nodded.

"Why is something wrong with it?" Carmin asked.

[Angel]

"No actually, it's exactly the oppositte." Angel said.

"Theses lyrics are so well wrtten, I thought you'd done it before." Angel explained.

[Cody Rhodes]

"Knock Knock" Cody told

[Carmin Rhodes]

"Great he's here, I'm not ready for him to hear this yet!" Carmin thought.

Carmin answered the door anyway as Angel was busy feeding her three month old son Anthony.

"Hey Cody." Carmin said.

[Cody Rhodes]

"Hey sis" he told

[Carmin Rhodes]

Carmin smiled.

"Come on, you have to meet Lacie and Anthony, they are the cutest little babies I have ever seen!"

[Cody Rhodes]

"Ohh!! New babies for me to spoil"

[Carmin Rhodes]

"Good God, you've changed!"

Angel smiled.

"Lacie's upstairs in her crib." Angel said, rocking Anthony.

"Ohh, finally a boy" he told

"Maybe now Ryan and I will be able to have more bonding once Anthony gets older"

[Carmin Rhodes]

Carmin smiled as she listened to Cody talk.

Then Lacie started to cry.

"I've got her." Carmin said as she went upstairs returning with Lacie in her arms.

"She;s adorable"

[Carmin Rhodes]

"Isn't she?" Carmin said.

She laughed as Lacie started reaching for Cody.

"I think she wants to see you." CArmin said.

[Cody Rhodes]

"I want to see her!" Cody told

"COme here sweetie"

[Carmin Rhodes]

Carmin smiled and handed Lacie over to Cody.

Lacie giggled as Cody held her.

Lily listened from the stairs jealously, that was herUncle Cody, and no one was going to take him from her.

"She's precious!"

[Angel]

"I know isn't she!" Angel smiled.

The she heard a cry from the stairs and the sound of a slamming bedroom door.

"Oh no, not again." Angel said.

"WHat?"

[Angel]

"Lily's hit the jealousy stage." Angel said.
