Pappy''s Little Angel

[Hayley Rhodes]

Hayley rolled over in her bed and moaned. Her tiny body burned with fever as she tried to go back to sleep.

Her throat burned and her stomach ached.

She looked up as she saw her father standing at her bedroom door.

Cody stood at the door with his head rested comfortably on the brown color of it.

This whole father thing, although it seemed like it was nothing new at all, was quite new in actuality.

He had done the pretend "father" thing with Angel's kids, and he was quite good at it.

Now, he had a child, and it just seemed different.

Cody listened to his little girl moan, walking in to the room quickly to check on her.

"Daddy." Hayley said softly, her voice barely audible.

[Cody Rhodes]

"Yes Hayley" he said softly.

"Daddy I don't feel good." Hayley whined.

[Cody Rhodes]

"You don't?" he said

Hayley shook her head.

"My head hurts, my throat hurts, my stomach hurts, everything hurts!" Hayley whined.

"What can daddy do to make you fel better"

[Hayley Rhodes]

"I want pappy." Hayley said.

"okay...." Cody said.

[Hayley Rhodes]

"Yay!"

Cody chuckled, "Would you like to speak to him" he asked his daughter.
