Kayla opened her eyes, "Oh my god! Thank you! I love it!" Kayla beamed and hugged Rachel.

"Shh honey," Torrie soothed Sarah.

Kayla smiled.

"Just wait one second," Rachel spoke, she got up and walked out of the room to see John coming up the stairs.

Kayla went to follow Rachel but they ended up bumping into each other when Rachel ran back in.

"Get the books out, and put this on" Rachel spoke putting a hoodie over Kayla's hair.

"What's got you freaked out" Kayla asked.

"Your dad is coming up here." Rachel said.

"But I don't like Fallout Boy," Kayla spoke.

"Just put it on, and look like we are studying" Rachel said, as she grabbed her books she hadn't even opened.

"What are we studying again?" Kayla asked.

"Okay that helps," Kayla spoke.

John opened the door, and saw Kayla and Rachel studying on the bed.

"Hi dad," Kayla said with a smile, hiding her hair.

"What are you two doing?"

"Studying" Rachel said with an innocent look across her face.

"Working dad," Kayla smiled.

John slowly nodded his head, and turned the book over "Beauty and the beast" He said.

"Huh? how did..."

"Why did you pick out a disney book?" Rachel nudged her.

"I didn't...Sarah!"

"Okay Rach I'm guessing we've been caught out" Kayla spoke.

"Damn by a 6 year old," Rachel moaned.

John just folded his arms at the two girls. "Why aren't you two working on your school work,"

"Done it," Kayla lied.

"When you have detention you have a lot of time to do stuff." Rachel said with a smile.

John looked at Kayla and Rachel.

"Enough I want you both to apolglise to Sarah now!" John ordered.

"It's not our fault she has no friends" Kayla laughed joking around with Rachel.

John looked at Kayla, and then Rachel

"Now, both of you" John snapped, he grabbed the hoodie from Kayla by accident exposing her new blonde, with red highlights in her hair.

"Well I'll be going home now." Rachel said as she grabbed her bag.

"What the hell?!" John yelled.

Kayla bit her lip gently.

"It looks great doesn't it?" Kayla asked.

John just stood there with shock, He then saw Rachel about to leave. "Rachel get back here!" He snapped.

"What have you done to my daughter's hair!" John shouted.

"Made it look different" Kayla smiled but gulped when she saw John glare at her.

John looked at Rachel and then at Kayla.

"Is this all you've been doing up here" John asked.

"I love it" Kayla folded her arms.

"Oh trust me, your mother is gonna be furious" John said, as he grabbed Kayla by her arm and went back downstairs to Torrie.

Rachel smiled with relief until she felt John tug her too "You too," John spoke.

"Tor want to know what they have doing?"

"Studying John," Torrie spoke as she got a glass of Dr Pepper in her hand.

John pulled down the hood, Torrie gasped with shock making the glass smash on the floor.

"Oh my god!" Torrie gasped with the uttermost shock.

After the shock settled in, Torrie let out a small grin across her face, "Actually it suits her" Torrie said, making John turn to her.
