Torrie smiled brightly while she kissed John. She pulled apart, with her hand on his white shirt.

"See you managed 2 seconds to stay mad at me" Torrie spoke with a giggle.

Torrie stared at John before she laughed, coming back into his arms.

"You know I bet you enjoy chasing away all the potential boyfriends, just like you did mine? with Peter, Nick...and others" Torrie spoke with a smile.

"But come on Tor, Peter was a no good son of a bitch and...Nick well he was just a jackass that deserved the beating I gave him the moment he laid one finger on you" John spoke.

Torrie looked at John, before a sweet smile flew across her face. "My hero/protector" Torrie spoke.

Torrie clasped her hands together with a bright smile forming on her face.

John smiled, and put his strong arms around Torrie's slim waist.

"But if you don't be good with Kayla, I will not be a very happy bunny" Torrie spoke with a soft laugh.

"Okay" Torrie spoke adding the milk. She walked over and placed the cup near John's hand.

"There you go darling" Torrie spoke with a soft smile.

"And you think that's a good idea?" Torrie asked.

"He'll probably use all your resources to trace squirrels and...eat cookies the whole time he won't do any work" Torrie added.

John stared at Torrie, before he sighed. It really didn't matter, he needed to repair his relationship with his precious daughter Kayla Marie.

Torrie looked at John, before she smiled sitting on John's lap.

"I think it's a great idea for you and Kayla to spend sometime together" Torrie spoke with a smile.

John nodded with his arms around Torrie. They shared a kiss until they heard the door slam, and a sound of a girl crying running past them to go upstairs.

"Kay" Torrie spoke softly.

"Leave me alone," Kayla muttered in tears as she ran to her room throwing her school bag downstairs.

John's eyes lowered down to the black shoulder bag at his feet, he and Torrie then exchanged looks.
