"Shopping?" Kayla raised her eyebrows with a smile forming on her face.

"as I hate to admit it...yes" John spoke.

Kayla stared at John. "It's gonna take more than a shopping trip for things to get back to normal the way it used to be" Kayla spoke with a serious look across her face.

John nodded as he understood.

"I know sweetie but I'm going try really hard to make sure everything does go back to normal." John said.

"I know life isn't a fairytale anymore, I learned that from you" Kayla spoke leaning on John's right shoulder.

John just listened. Kayla lowered her head down for a moment before she gave John her smile. "But I know I can always rely on my daddy" Kayla spoke sweetly while she kneeled up on her bed hugging John.

Kayla pulled apart, and smiled at John with excitment.

"So seriously you're gonna take me shopping"

John nodded. "Yeah..." He gulped before he answered.

Kayla just stared "You? seriously...you hate shopping dad" She added.

Kayla smiled.

"Okay sounds great!"

"Doesn't it just." John spoke with a weak fake smile.

Kayla continued to smile, before she got her white fleece from her wardobe. Slipping it on, she zipped up to the top of her bust area.

"I'm set," Kayla spoke.

"Yeah just one thing first," John spoke, he brought Kayla closer and zipped her jacket up to the top.

"Oww..Dad." Kayla whined as her head was perked up because of the jacket being zipped right up to the top.

"No I'm not, I can't breathe" Kayla whined before she pulled the silver zip down exposing her white cotton top with a lacy pattern at the top.

Kayla let out a groan before she whipped her blonde hair to the side.

"What's the freaking big deal?" Kayla asked confused.

John looked at Kayla, "You been hanging out with Orton's daughter Rachel?"

"No," She lied deciding to zip up her jacket slightly.

Kayla flipped her blonde hair as she looked at John.

"I don't...hold that thought" Kayla spoke as she heard her cellphone ringing.

"Hey Rach, what's up?"

"Nothing like I'm so bored," Rachel moaned.

"Well I'm going shopping" Kayla smiled.
