Race to Witch Mountain (Soraya and Matt)

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Matt, come on!" Soraya tapped her foot impatiently while she waited for her boyfriend to emerge from the car.

It was the first day in a long time that both Soraya and Matt had the day off from their separate obligations to Raw and SmackDown and she had wanted to spend the day doing normal couple activities, such as dinner and movie. They'd done the dinner part and now they were in the parking lot of the movie theater. Matt had told her it was her choice and she had chosen to see Race to Witch Mountain since it not only starred their good friend Dwayne but it looked cute. Matt wasn't so thrilled with her choice.

So now she stood, outside Matt's car, shivering slightly in the cold since she only had a light jacket on over the cute blue wrap around dress she wore with silver wedges. And Matt, was glowering at her through the windshield.

[Matt Hardy]

"Why did you have to pick that stupid movie?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

Soraya rolled her eyes. "You haven't even seen it, so how do you know it's stupid?! Besides, the only stupid movie Dwayne's ever done was Doom. Come on, I'm cold."

[Matt Hardy]

"It sounds stupid with witch mountain in the title." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

She sighed and shivered again. "Fine, then just suffer through the stupid movie for me, please? I'm starting to frost over out here."

[Matt Hardy]

Matt groaned then got out of the car and took Soraya's hand before they walked inside.

"Can we see another movie now?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

Soraya sighed. "You said I could pick and I really want to see this movie."

[Matt Hardy]

"Why?" Matt asked with a groan.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Because I like Dwayne's movies!" Soraya said exasperated. "Are you really going to make this as difficult as possible? Can't you sacrifice two hours...for me, you're beautiful girlfriend who loves you very much?!" She added a pout for effect.

[Matt Hardy]

Matt groaned.

"Fine." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

Soraya brightened and kissed his cheek. "Thank you. I promise...I'll make it up to you later."

[Matt Hardy]

"I know you will." Matt said with a smile.

[Soraya O'Toole]

Soraya grinned and laced her fingers through his. "It's why you love me." She joked.

[Matt Hardy]

"I love you for many reasons." Matt said as he looked into Soraya's eyes.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"You shouldn't have said that." Soraya teased, stepping closer to him. "Now I'm going to pester you and say like what?" She giggled.

[Matt Hardy]

"You're strong, talented, beautiful, and you have a heart of gold." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

She smiled at him. "Mhmm...I like all those reasons. So I won't pester you any further." She leaned up and kissed him softly. "Thank you."

[Matt Hardy]

"You're welcome, what do you love about me?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

She looked thoughtful for a moment. "I love how sweet you are. Even though I'm dragging you to a movie that you don't want to see, you're here anyway, just because I want to. I love you because you trust me, even considering your past, you just seem to know I'm not looking elsewhere or pining for someone else. You're impossibly kind, to me, to Candice, and the rest of your family. And while sometimes you can get a little too overprotective, it's nice to know you'll always come to my defense when or if I need you. You're a highly attentive boyfriend and I'm the first to admit how spoiled I am. You make me happy, that's why I love you." She giggled. "Plus, like I said before, you're the hottest guy around."

[Matt Hardy]

Matt's smile widened.

"You're amazing you know that?" Matt asked.

[Soraya O'Toole]

"Well, when you say so, I might believe it." She said.

[Matt Hardy]

"I've never met a woman as amazing as you are." Matt said.

[Soraya O'Toole]

She blushed. "Now I'm sure that's not true. I'm no more amazing than anyone else." She said softly. "But I enjoy the ego boost so thank you."

[Matt Hardy]

"You're welcome." Matt said.

He went up to the ticket booth in the theater with Soraya.

"Last chance to pick a good movie." Matt said.

She grinned. "I already did pick a good movie. It's your taste that's faulty." She teased.
