John touched a few keys, as the laptop screen remained black.

Torrie picked up the phone while Sarah played with her black headband in her hair. "Hello?" Torrie spoke, John turned when he heard Torrie's voice through his cell phone.

John stared at the laptop then at his phone, not knowing what to do.

"Hello anyone there?" Torrie asked since no one had said anything on the other end.

John stared at screen. "No, no you stupid thing"

"Dad why are you talking to a laptop screen?" Kayla asked getting a snack from the fruit bowl.

Kayla tried to undo the lid of her cold fruit juice bottle as she looked at the black screen.

"Is it supposed to be like that?" Kayla spoke trying to open the bottle.

"Not really," John spoke.

"Can you open it please?" Kayla spoke extending the bottle to John.

"Open it please," Kayla spoke with a smile.

John sighed before he took the bottle and opened it for Kayla "There you go," He spoke before he went back to laptop trying to get it to turn on.

Kayla smiled before she took a sip of her drink. "Kay! High School Musicial 3 is on!" Ella called.

"Ooh!" Her smile lit up before she opened her mouth to respond "I'll be right there," She went to walk away but John grabbed her hand since Kayla knows more about computers than he does.

"Can you do anything?"

"I dunno what did you do for a start?" Kayla asked.

"Pressed something and it went off," John spoke.

"Are you turning into Shawn?" Kayla asked to John.

"Hey! it was an accident no need to get nasty" John spoke to his daughter.

"Looks like you've turned it off so....it's gonna cost you" Kayla spoke.

"If you love me, you'll do it because your mother is gonna crufiy me" John said.

Kayla just laughed, before she took another sip of her drink. "Daddy, mom would never do anything to hurt you" She spoke with a smile across her face.

Torrie just put the phone down in the kitchen after she got no answer on the telephone.

"If you love me, you'll do it because your mother is gonna crufiy me" John said.

Kayla just laughed, before she took another sip of her drink. "Daddy, mom would never do anything to hurt you" She spoke with a smile across her face.

Torrie just put the phone down in the kitchen after she got no answer on the telephone.

Kayla stared.

"Your mother is beautiful and sweet alright, but under that there is a fiery hellcat beneath..trust me darling" John spoke.

"So if you can't get it to work, what's gonna happen?" Kayla asked John.

Torrie looked at wall while she put the phone back down with a confused look across her face.

Kayla looked at John before they started talk wondering what they could do.

"Kay, the movie is starting" Ella spoke, she then saw John and Kayla talking.

Ella looked at them "Hello," She then saw the black screen on the laptop. She touched a key on laptop, and then held down two other keys getting the laptop screen to turn back on.
