Bringing Home The New Orton (Katie and Randy)

[Katie Orton]

Katie smiled as she got out of the car when Randy parked the hummer in the driveway of their house. She looked at her and Randy's baby as he slept peacefully in his car seat.

"Ready to go inside Robby?" Katie asked.

She looked at Randy as he opened the door.

"Isn't he the cutest baby in the world?" Katie asked as looked back at Robby.

Randy nodded.

"Yes" He spoke with a grin across her face.

Katie's smile widened then got out of the car. She unhooked Robby's carried then picked it out of the car as Robby slept peacefully in it.

"Could you grab my bag?" Katie asked Randy.

Randy nodded and got the bag out of the car.

They walked to the door and once Randy unlocked then opened it Katie giggled when she saw Rocky and Macy run to the door.

"Guys back up." Katie said with a giggle as the dogs blocked the door.

Rachel came down the stairs.

"Rocky, Macy come on." Rachel said as she walked into the kitchen with the dogs and gave them a treat.

Randy just put the keys down on the table near the door before he sat down on the sofa.

Katie walked into the living room then set the carrier on the coffee table. She took Robby from the carrier.

"Aw you are so..." Katie stopped when Robby let out a loud cry.

She tried rocking him but he continued crying.

"I just picked him up...oh my he hates me. My own son hates me." Katie said as she started crying.

"He doesn't hate you," Randy said.

"Yes he does, I picked him up then he started crying." Katie said.

Rachel came into the room with her hands over her ears.

"I've changed my mind, I don't want a baby brother anymore. Too much noise!" Rachel yelled.

"Sweetheart babies cry all the time, he's just getting used to the big world that's all you have nothing to worry about" Randy spoke.

Katie calmed down then handed Robby to Randy.

"I'm going to get him a bottle." Katie said.

She watched as Robby calm down and stopped crying as Randy held him.

"He does hate me!" Katie cried before she walked into the kitchen.

"No he doesn't" Randy spoke as he followed Katie into the kitchen with the baby in his arms.

"Yes he does." Katie said as she continued crying while she screwed the top on the bottle then handed it to Randy.

"I've got to be the worst mother in the world, my own baby hates me." Katie said.

"No you're not, Katie he's only a few weeks old..okay it's gonna take time for us all to adjust" Randy gently muttered placing a kiss on Katie's temple.

Katie sniffled.

"I'm sorry, I'm just still a little emotional. The doctor said its common for first time mothers." Katie said.

Rachel walked into the kitchen.

"Oh thank god someone got that kid to shut up." Rachel said with a moan.

"Yeah...he hates me that's why he was crying." Katie said before she ran upstairs in tears.

Rachel looked at Randy.

"Was it something I said?" Rachel asked.

"Katie's just a little emotional that's all" Randy spoke as he rubbed his temple.

"Oh...hey dad meet my boyfriend Tyler." Rachel said with a smile as she pulled her boyfriend into the kitchen.

Tyler was dressed in jeans, an orange shirt, and sneakers. He had brown eyes and brown hair.

Randy's eyes darkened.

"Get out!" He shouted.

Katie continued to cry on the bed, while she wanted to talk to someone that could make her feel better.

Tyler jumped back when he heard Randy shout at him.

"No he's not leaving!" Rachel yelled.

Katie sniffled then grabbed her phone before she saw a bunch of baby stuff against the wall and smiled.

"Baby presents." Katie said before she put her phone back down.

She grabbed a package and saw white booties that had a blue ribbon on them.

"Aw." Katie said before she went downstairs.

She looked at Randy as she went into the kitchen.

"Aren't these so cute for Robby?" Katie asked.

"No he's not" Randy yelled.

Katie heard the word no and burst into tears.

"You didn't have to be so mean about it." Katie cried before she ran back upstairs.

Rachel looked.

"Good going dad, instead of being a jerk to Tyler maybe you should comfort your wife." Rachel said.

"I want him out my house now!" Randy yelled with his cold look in his eyes.

"I don't care." Rachel said before she took Tyler's hand and went into the living room.

[Katie Orton]

Katie fell onto her bed as she cried then pulled her cell phone out and called Torrie.

Torrie's sweet smile shone as she and John stayed on the living room floor while they watched Kelly Anne play in her baby swing as she sweetly giggle enjoying it.
