Stand by Me (Candice and Torrie)

[Candice Michelle Bautista]

Candice Michelle Bautista parked Dave's white Hummer H3 in the driveway of the Wilson-Cena home. She knew that one of her best friends, Torrie Wilson-Cena was going through a rough time, and Candice wanted to help. Since the birth of Aidan, Candice's schedule had been locked tight and spending quality time with her friends, even her best friend Kelly, had been hard for her to do. Now, she was going to make the time. Vince McMahon could kiss her ass, if he had a problem with it.

Candice started up the walkway to the house dressed in an emerald green Juicy Couture lounge suit with a white tank top underneath. Running one hand through her dark, wavy hair, she used the other to ring the doorbell.

While she felt the darkness surround her, obvlious to her husband John she felt like she was drowning. Everything just kept taking it's toll, and she felt like she couldn't be strong anymore. The fighter in her, was slowly fading away within her.

Torrie turned her head sitting from on the sofa when she heard the doorbell. She let out a deep sigh, before she made her way to the front door. Her blonde hair still shone, but there was hardly any light in her something shadowed her from shining.

Torrie opened the front door, in black sweats with a pink jumper with her hair in a loose ponytail.

"Oh my god!" Torrie beamed, smiling the best she could when she saw her good friend Candice Michelle Bautista at her door with a bag, and about 7 movies in her hands.

"So," Candice grinned at Torrie. "I'm sick of letting Vince McMahon run my life. So I'm thinking movie night, I brought all the good ones. And screw the training diet, I've got chocolate!"

Torrie's lips parted with a small soft giggle, letting Candice in the house.

"Oh that sounds great, chocolate as well! wow a great surprise" Torrie spoke as she hugged Candice.

Candice set the bags down and hugged Torrie back. "Well, I've missed just hanging out, the two of us, so we're going to fix that right now, with an old fashioned, completely girly movie night. I packed Mama Mia and everything."

Torrie just giggled.

"Mama Mia? I haven't seen that ever since John hid it I still haven't found that either" Torrie spoke as she walked into the living room.

"But yeah I missed hanging out Candy, god life really is unpredictable" Torrie spoke as she sat back on the sofa and curled her legs unto the leather.

[Candice Michelle Bautista]

"Tell me about it..." Candice said. "I mean, so much has changed since we first met. Some good, some not so good, but then, that's life isn't it. At least we still have each other."

Torrie nodded her head in agreement.

"Yep, that's one thing that always keeps me going..is knowing I still have you" Torrie spoke as she smiled at Candice.

"Friends forever, we made that statement true" Torrie giggled.

"Thelma and Louise." Candice agreed. "I know I've been busy lately, you know I never go anywhere. I'm always here."

Torrie nodded her head as she took Candice's hand.

"Yeah I know, it's like the only time we've actually spent together is big wwe events...we haven't been shopping, or even went to beach for the day we used to do all the time but like you said life turns and you get busy, I know I do" Torrie spoke as she softly smiled, still feeling like she was drowning inside.

[Candice Michelle Bautista]

"Well, we're just going to have to start making time for that stuff again." Candice said firmly. "Vince can kiss my ass, if he has a problem with me taking extra time." She joked.

Torrie looked at Candice.

"Ha! Vince still doesn't like me that much when I exposed him on my first day with the company so I don't really care if he gets mad" Torrie spoke as she sweetly giggled.

She brushed back her blonde hair, "You know last call I had from you on my cellphone was 4 months ago, we can't drift like that Candy you're like a sister to me" Torrie spoke as she hugged Candice, she needed all the friends and comfort to find the fear that was breaking her from inside to outside.

"I know!" Candice sighed. "I'm so sorry Torrie, I haven't had time for anyone, it's not just you. I mean, Jeff and I don't have time to talk anymore either, and I haven't hung with Kelly in months, just her and me anyway. I'm making a promise to myself and you, to get my life back in order and my priorities straightened out again."

"Well I think everyone's life has changed, I see Katie all the time since Randy and Katie practically live here" Torrie spoke, as she rolled her eyes.

"I love them both, but I want more company than them. John is hardly here, and we hardly talk anymore...so it's..kind getting all top of me" Torrie spoke as she lowered her eyelashes down to leather.

[Candice Michelle Bautista]

"Aw Torrie, I'm sorry." Candice sympathsized.

Torrie looked back up at Candice.

"It's alright, it's just that I feel like every step I make is wrong...I don't know what's happening to me Candy I just...feel so alone, and scared all the time" Torrie spoke while she held her sore wrist.

"You're not alone." Candice said firmly. "Talk to me, Torrie."

"I just feel like whatever I touch, or whatever it just goes wrong and I feel like I'm drowning, and soon it's just gonna swallow me whole because I can't fight what's going on in my head" Torrie spoke.

[Candice Michelle Bautista]

"Torrie, how is that possible? You've done so many things that are right." Candice said. "You've raised two wonderful daughters and a son that's going to be the future of the WWE. You have a fairytale marriage with the man of your dreams, a career that's enviable and friends that will stand by you no matter what."

Torrie nodded.

"I know Candice, but no matter what I try and do the fighter in me...is fading I'm scared of just how much I'm gonna fade" Torrie muttered as she lowered her head down.

[Candice Michelle Bautista]

"So don't give up! Use that fear and fight back! You're Torrie Wilson-Cena, former Women's Champion! You can't let this get you down!" Candice said firmly.

Torrie stared at Candice for a moment, hanging onto every word she just said.

"Thanks Candice, Mrs Candice-Michelle Bautista...voice of reason" Torrie spoke with a gentle giggle.

Candice grinned. "Someone's got to be right now. I mean, that's what I tell myself every time I've been depressed. I'm a former Women's Champion, and so are you. We've beaten the likes of Beth Phoenix, we can do anything."

Torrie stared at Candice, before a soft sweet giggle came through her gloss lips.

"I love you Candice Michelle-Batutista" Torrie spoke as she latched a friendship embrace with Candice.

"I love you too, Torrie Wilson-Cena." Candice grinned returning the embrace.
