The Other Side of Maryse

[Maryse]

Today was one of the only days Maryse had finally had time off from the WWE.

She drove up to the door of the Children General Hospital of Montreal, Quebec, where she is originally from.

Ted was with her, on the passenger seat.

"Well we're here" she announced.

Ted looked up and saw a sign saying Children's Hospital

"A children's hospital?" he asked confused.

"We are in Canada and have a few days off... and we go to a children's hospital?" he told, not knowing why they were here.

[Maryse]

Maryse nodded.

"You sound surprised and disappointed" she told.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

Ted nodded, "Well yeah" he said.

"I never thought you would volunteer to go to a hospital on a day off" he told.

[Maryse]

Maryse laughed slightly.

"I know" she told, "But just come in with me for 6 minutes" she said, "I wanna show you something" she told.

"Okay" he said

"Wait... we aren't here... so you can send a hidden message are we? Please tell me you don't want kids" Ted said, stoppiong himself from getting out of the seat.

[Maryse]

Maryse laughed, "no, I dont want kids right now" she told.

"I just want you to come on" she told tugging at his light blue shirt.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

Ted sighed relief, "Oh thank goodness" he said.

"And I'm coming baby" he said. opening his door.

[Maryse]

"YAY!" she exclaimed, kissing Ted's cheek before she got out of the car.

Ted laughed as he stepped out of the silver Mercedes.

"Okay, I'm ready to go see a hospital" he told sarcastically, pulling on his shirt as he walked up next to MAryse.

[Maryse]

"Would you stop it" Maryse laughed.

"I promise you it won't be long" she said.

Linking her arm with his as he led them into the hospital.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

"I hope so" he told, "Because I don't like hospitals" he warned.

[Maryse]

Maryse laughed, as she stepped into the lobby of the hospital.

"Maryse!" someone said with excitement.

Ted jumped when some nurse aldy came up to MAryse quickly.

"what the...." he stopped himself, seeing a bunch a children surrounding the area.

[Maryse]

"Emily!" Maryse told, giving two cheek kisses to her.

"I'm so glad you're here! Mallory has been asking for you daily!" the nurse said.

"Awwww! Really? I've missed her so much" Maryse told in a sweet and caring voice.

"Oh yeah. Everyday it's is Maryse here? is she coming today? Is she here yet?" the woman spoke, "Finally you're here! Hopefully you can make her happy" she added.

"I'll do my best Emily" she said, "Is she still in the same room?" Maryse asked.

"No, we had to move her because she's been getting worse"

Maryse nodded as a sad face formed on her face, "The cancer is winning isn't it?"

"I'm afraid so" the nurse said, getting a page, "I'm afraid I have to take this, so it was nice to see you again, bye"

"Bye" Maryse told, with a sigh.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

"You know her?" Ted asked, coming up behind her.

[Maryse]

"Of course" Maryse said.

"I know everyone here." she added, "I did help find this hospital" she said.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

"You founded this hospital?" Ted asked shocked.

[Maryse]

"Well me and...."

"MARYSE!" a little boy shrieked when he saw her.

"Howie!" Maryse told with enthusiasm

"Maryse!" another little child screamed.

"Amanda!" Maryse said, as both children ran up to her.

"Awww!" she told, getting to her knees and scooping both up into a big hug

"I missed you, me too!" the kids said.

"Me too" Maryse said, "How's the diabetes Amanda? And you Howie?"

'Good!: she answered.

"That's great" Maryse smiled.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

"Maryse what are you doing" Ted asked, never seeing this side of MAryse before.

[Maryse]

"Oh, Howie, Amanda, this is Ted" Maryse said.

"He's the prince in Cinderella I always read to you" she said.

"He's cuteeee" Amanda told

"Yeah he is" MAryse smiled and laughed.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

Ted smiled at the compliments.

"Prince... I like that" he said.

"Hi Ted" Howie and Amanda said in unison.

"Hello" Ted said, still feeling weird seeing Maryse like this.

[Maryse]

"There you two are! You're parents are here to see you" another Nurse said.

"Aww! do we have to go!" Howie complained

"Yeah!" Amanda whined.

"Go on." Maryse said, "and tell mommy and daddy I said hi" she told, "Little scamps" she teased, kissing their cheek before they left.

[Ted Dibiase Jr.]

"That was so nice of you" Ted said, extending his hand to help her up.

[Maryse]

Maryse smiled, taking his hand as he lifted her back to a standing position.

"you haven't seen anything yet"
