"It's alright, it doesn't matter," Torrie spoke gently as she touched John's chest.

She kept looking at John, then at the pole wedged in his side.

"You're gonna be okay John, I promise.." Torrie muttered softly, trying not to let the tears fall.

Torrie stared at John, as she managed a very small smile.

"I love you too, so very, very much" Torrie muttered.

John moved a little, elvating his right foot as he moved his body slowly because of the pain. His eyes started to squint, it was only then he noticed a pole sticking out of his midsection.

Torrie's eyes dawned on the pole for a moment before she looked at John.

"You're gonna be fine John, I promise" Torrie said with a small assuring smile on her face.

John just looked at the pole feeling the pain in his midsection. "Great...just...great" John muttered, before he felt his eyes start to close.

"John stay with me! okay just don't fall unconscious" Torrie pleaded, with her grip tightening for a moment trying to help John the best way she could. Torrie didn't care there was a crowd where John had put himself in danger to save Torrie.

Torrie moved her right hand out, and softly touched John's cheek.

"You're gonna be okay," Torrie muttered gently.

John continued to lie there, feeling the pain in his midsection he could feel every moment his strength weakens. John moved his head, tilting it to the left side squinting his eyes at the same time.

"It's...just not...my..month is it?" John lightly chuckled trying to ignore the pain.

Torrie managed a small giggle, with tears in her eyes. "No not really, first being put through a search light, then this...god your midsection, ribs must be killing" Torrie spoke as she stayed kneeled down by John.

John jolted his back up just a little writhing in pain.

"Just...a little.." He spoke, feeling the breath quicken through his lips.

Torrie's eyes turned to see the pole in John, it wasn't a big massive pole but it was still enough to cause Cena a lot of pain.

"Why John? why did you do it?" Torrie asked softly.

"Saving you...having a pole impale me or...The Katie thing" John muttered.

Torrie looked at John, as she gently stroked his cheek. "Saving me," Torrie spoke.

Torrie looked at John, feeling her breath slip through her fingers with her chest rising twice as fast worried for John.

"You do love me more than anything don't you?" Torrie muttered softly seeing John's body rise slowly, with the pole wedged just below his ribcage on his left side.

"Yes...of course I do.." John spoke with pain.

A small, faint grin went across her face as she kneeled there trying not to break down and cry while the hotel receptionist rang for an ambulance after a hero's sacrifice in the hotel, shook up the night.

Torrie looked at John before she gently touched John's chest.

"I really don't care, I know you never mean to hurt me...that's why I love you so damn much so I'm not gonna let you leave me" Torrie spoke as she stared at John.

John looked at Torrie with "Kind of hard with a internal injuries, and a pole in his side" across his painful expression.

Torrie touched John's rising chest as he tried to breathe the best way he could.

"But you could have been seriously injured, and...the way you were already in..." Torrie stuttered in her words, as her eyes kept seeing a pole sticking out of the love of her life.

"Your amazing you know that?" Torrie asked.

John lightly chuckled as he squinted his eyes in pain. "You know...what I did...I wasn't gonna..let...you get anymore hurt than you already are" John spoke.

"Well thanks to you, I'm just worried sick about you" Torrie muttered with tears in her eyes.

John raised his right hand, and touched Torrie's cheek ever so gently giving her the comfort he could just manage right now.

A few paramedics came over, and inspected the damage.

"Is he going to be okay? please tell me he'll be fine" Torrie muttered as she looked at the paramedics, looing at their name tags on their jackets.

"I don't think it's fatal, the pole hasn't actually gone right through, it's a little deep in but I don't think his life is in danger" The paramedic spoke.

"Oh thank god," Torrie spoke as her heart released with pressure, hearing that John's life isn't in that much danger.

The paramedics walked away talking to one another leaving Torrie with John.

"Well that's something..good right? that you're life for once isn't in danger" Torrie spoke as she managed a small smile.

"We need to get that pole out now, or else it can fatal" The paramedic told the other as they talked among themselves.

"Okay what we are gonn have to do, is pull the pole out okay?"

"What? right now!" Torrie yelled.

"Yes, it is gonna be painful but it will be much easier to breathe when it's out" Matt the Paramedic spoke.

"No, no you can't do that to him! he's already recovering from internal injuries, you pull that thing out you'll kill him" Torrie spoke with tears in her eyes.

"Ignore her, she's just worried as per usual..just..take it out so I can actually breathe again and not feel like I've just been impaled" John said.

"But you have just been impaled, that's gonna hurt so much to take it out" Torrie spoke.

"But...there has to be another way," Torrie spoke.

"Miss if we don't take it out, it could be fatal" One of the paramedics said.

Torrie's head just lowered down knowing John was gonna be in for some serious pain.

"We need to take it out now" The other said, Torrie just nodded her head while he put on his gloves and looked at the pole.

"Right I'm gonna try be quick as possible, but it is gonna be quite painful because it is wedged a little deep" The paramedic explained to John and Torrie.

John stared at him, before he felt a gentle but firm squeeze in his right hand from Torrie showing him she's right beside him.
