Back into the Shadows

Miranda sighed holding her black luggage in her hands as she waited to board the plane. She was going back where she belonged, back into the shadows, back to being invisible. It was clear that John didn't want her around and she knew not to stay where she wasn't wanted.

"Flight 135 to Orlando boarding at Gate 7." the voice spoke over the loudspeaker.

Miranda started walking toward the gate when she heard the last voice she expected to hear.

John's.

John stared at Miranda.

"Miranda!" John shouted trying to get her attention.

Miranda kept walking.

John never listened to her, she wouldn't listen to him.

"I'm sorry!" John yelled.

Miranda scoffed as she turned around.

"You think that's gonna fix this!" Miranda yelled back.

"No but I've done some thinking and I shouldn't have treated you the way I did." John said.

"No you don't say John?" Miranda said.

"Look it's pretty damn clear you don't want me around so I'll just go back to where I came from and leave you the hell alone!" Miranda yelled.

"Don't. I want to get to know you." John said.

"Please don't leave." John said.

Miranda stopped for a oment feeling tears well in her eyes.

"No you don't, you don't want a one legged freak for a sister!" Miranda cried.

"Mom and dad din't want me, you don't eiter." Miranda cried, collaping into a chair by the window, her body racked with tears.

[John Cena]

John went over to Miranda and hugged her.

"That wasn't the reason why I didn't want to believe you were my sister." John said.

Miranda looked at John a mix of sorrow and anger in her eyes.

"Why then John?" Miranda asked.

[John Cena]

"Because I would hate my parents for giving up my sister and not giving me the chance to meet her years ago." John said.

"Why did you take that anger out on me?" Miranda asked.

[John Cena]

"I don't know. I'm sorry." John said.

Miranda nodded, jumping a little when she felt her prostetic start to slip.

"Why do you think they gave me up?" Miranda asked.

John shrugged his shoulders.

"I wouldn't know." John said.

"You aren't ashamed of me?" Miranda asked.

[John Cena]

"No." John said.

"Do you...do you hate me for coming back?" Miranda asked, nervously tucking her raven hair behind her ear.

[John Cena]

"No because I finally got to meet the sister I never knew existed." John said.

Miranda looked at John before the signature Cena smile formed on her face.

John smiled as he looked at Miranda then stood up.

"Come on, lets get out of here so I can hang out with my sister,." John said.

Miranda's smiled widened.

"Okay." Miranda said.

"What do you propose we do?" Miranda asked.

"I don't know, want to go to the park so we can get to know each other better? We have a lot of years to catch up on." John said.

"Alright then that sounds like a plan to me." Miranda said.
