Her Final Breath

[Angel]

Angel had once looked like she had been getting better. Now she lay in a hospital bed, her body fraile, her hair gone, her will to survive no longer there. She was in the fight of her life. Wires from evry direction came from her body as machines monitored her every movement.

Could these be her final moments?

Shawn walked into the room with concern in his eyes. He didn't say a word as he stared at Angel.

[Angel]

"Daddy?" Angel muttered softly with tears in her eyes from fear and pain.

"Yeah I'm here." Shawn said, starting to feel tears in his eyes.

Angel held her weak hand out to him.

"Daddy, I'm scared." Angel whimpered.

Shawn took Angel's hand.

"I am too but you can't give up." Shawn said.

[Angel]

"I'm trying daddy I'm trying but it's so hard it hurts so bad!" Angel cried.

Torrie Wilson Cena quietly stepped in the room. She knew Angel had cancer but she thought Angel had the strength to fight it and she was winning the battle but fate always sends a twist in the works.

Torrie took one step looking at Shawn and then gulped when she saw Angel.

"Oh my, Angel" Torrie spoke with tears already rising in her eyes seeing how fragile she looked.

If anything the cancer had brought Torrie and Angel closer as friends like they used to be and now she felt afraid to lose a good friend.

Torrie didn't care about the past. She had learnt to forget the past, and concentrate on the future. She had forgiven Angel for sleeping with John when she was grieving for Tessa.

But now Torrie felt scared of the future, especially for her friend, and also her hidden love for her stepchildren Ryan and Lilly Rose.
