Her Savior

[Destiny]

Destiny tossed and turned in her bed as she tried to get to sleep, something she hadn't been able to do all night long. She moaned a little as her stomach flipped again. She coughed at little, grabbbing her neck as she did. Her throat burned, her stomach ached, her body burned with excessivley high fever and overall she felt incredibly weak.

She struggled to crawl out of bed to make it to the bathoom as she could feel her stomach screaming for release of its contents. After two minutes of fighting with the blankets that trapped her on her bed she crawled on her hands and knees to the bathroom, too weak to stand.

The minute she reached the toliet bowl it was instant release. After a few minutes of retching she collapsed on the bathroom floor gasping for breath.

Destiny reached up to the sinktop, using it to steady herself to stand. She looked at herself in the mirror; all color drained from her face. She turned on the water and grabbed a washcloth from under the sink trying to clean herself up before sliding back down to lie on the cold tiled bathroom floor.

She moaned a little as the bathroom light was turned on, causing her head to throb. She looked up to see Chris standing at the bathroom door.

"When did you get here?" Destiny asked weakly, since she lived alone in her small two bedroom home.

"The door was open," Chris said. He went to check on her.

"What happened to you?" Chris asked, seeing her face looking pale.

[Destiny]

Destiny looked up at Chris for a moment before she was again hugging the toliet bowl as another round of retching began.

"Oh my god....good thing I dropped by. You're not well." Chris said.

[Destiny]

Destiny looked up at Chris through fever glazed eyes.

"I feel horrible." she muttered.

[Destiny]

Destiny sighed before she laid down slowly on the cold tiled floor.

[Chris Jericho]

"Let's get you cleaned up and then I'll help you to your room," Chris said.

[Destiny]

"Chris..I can't move, it hurts." Destiny whimpered.

[Chris Jericho]

"At least try? For me?" Chris said.

[Destiny]

Destiny struggled onto her hands and knees to crawl over to Chris.

Chris took the time to pull her up to her feet. Though it was no easy to go since she was feeling weak. She was literally shaking.

"Okay I got you," he said and scopped her up in his arms and carried her out of the bathroom.

[Destiny]

"Thank you." Destiny said weakly.
