A Daughter's Worries

[Angel]

Angel wheeled into the arena, again against her father's orders. She didn't care, she had to see him. She had to talk to him before this match happened.

She was scared for her father and she wanted him to know that.

[Shawn Michaels]

Shawn was in his locker room taping his wrists when he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." Shawn said.

[Angel]

"Daddy, it's me." Angel said softly as she entered the room.

"What are you doing here?!" Shawn yelled.

[Angel]

"Daddy, please, don't yell at me right now I'm scared enough as it is." Angel said.

"I'm scared for you." Angel told him , trying to hold back the tears.

"I told you not to come." Shawn said.

He saw his wife Rebecca come in.

"Shawn I really don't think this match is a good idea." Rebecca said.

"I told you and Angel to stay at home." Shawn said.

[Angel]

"Daddy, you don't understand." Angel said.

Then she finally broke down.

"I've seen what Brian can do when he's angry." Angel said.

"Don't you remember what he did to your back a few weks ago?" Angel asked.

"I'm going to be fine." Shawn said.

[Angel]

"You don't know Brian like I do!" Angel said.

"You don't know what he's capable of, I do!" Angel said.

"Look at what he did to my babies, look at what he did to Lacie and Anthony, they may never walk or talk or anything because of what he did." Angel said, burying her face in her hands, crying.

[Shawn Michaels]

"I'm still doing the match." Shawn said.

[Angel]

Angel raised her head to look at her father until her big blue teary eyes met his.

"Are you not understanding a word that is coming out of my mouth?" Angel asked.

"There's nothing no one could say that would make me not do this match." Shawn said.

[Angel]

Angel looked at Shawn, anger now rising in her eyes.

"Could the fact that Brian may have put your grandchildren in wheelchairs stop you?" Angel asked.

"You may be next!"

"Angel get out!" Shawn yelled.

[Angel]

"No!" Angel yelled.

"You only want me to leave because you know I'm right!" Angel said.

"Damn it daddy this match scares the hell out of me okay, I'm scared of what's going to happen to you out there, I'm scared of what he's gonna do!" Angel said.

"GET OUT!" Shawn yelled loudly.

[Angel]

Angel wheeled herself over to the door, then turned around again.

"Well, excuse me for worrying about my father getting hurt, maybe I just won't care next time." Angel said in a monotone voice.
