A Turn For the Worst

[Angel]

Angel lay in her hospital bed weak and fraile. That morning she had spiked a dangerously high fever. With Angel's lymphoma this was very dangerous. Against her pleas Brian brought her to the hospital.

Angel moaned as she felt her temperature going up. She was afraid that she wouldn't make it through this.

Anyone?

[KellyKelly]

"Angel" Kelly spoke as she came into the room

[Angel]

Angel's fever glazed eyes turned to Kelly.

"Kelly?" Angel asked, raspy.

[KellyKelly]

"Yes, its me Angel" Kelly spoke assuringly.

"Oh honey! What is it, are you going to be okay?"

[Brian Kendrick]

Brian turned to Kelly.

"She spiked a fever early this morning and that's really dangerous for her now." Brian said. "They can get her temperature down!" Brian said as he ran his fingers through his hair stressed.

[KellyKelly]

"Oh my god, she's going to be okay..." Kelly spoke worried

[Angel]

"I'm scared Bri." Angel said.

Brian walked over to Angel and held her hand.

"Don't be baby, I'm right here." Brian said.

Angel turned to Kelly.

"Is Cody coming?" Angel asked.

[KellyKelly]

Kelly sighed, "I don't know... I can't get ahold of him... you want me to try again" Kelly spoke softly.

[Angel]

Angel nodded.

"Please Kel." Angel said.

[KellyKelly]

"I'll try my best, the last I heard Lillian was trying to get him to meet her parents" Kelly told, "But, i'll try again"

[Angel]

"I really want to see him, so I can say goodbye...just in case." Angel said.

[KellyKelly]

"You're not going to have to say goodbye" Kelly told

"And I'll go call him now" she told walking out of the room and outside

She pulled her phone from her jacket pocket and dialed his number. She waited for the rings, and finally he picked up

"CODY!!" she told panic

[Cody Rhodes]

"oww! My ear is next to the phone Kelly" he told

"You wanted something?" Cody spoke

[KellyKelly]

"Will you shut up! Just get to the hospital! Angel's take a turn for hte worse" Kelly spoke frantically.

[Cody Rhodes]

"What! I'll be there soon" Cody told, dropping the phone on the couch, rushing to the door. He placed on his brown leather jacket and grabbed the door knob,

"Cody, babe, where are you going?" Lilian spoke from the couch, eating popcorn, waiting for Cody to join her.

"I'll be back baby, Angel's back in the hospital, and it sounds bad" he told softly

"Ohh, baby I'm sorry, I hope she's okay."

"Me too" he told, "Bye baby" he told, going over to place a kiss on her head, before walking out the door.

[Angel]

Angel turned to Kelly.

"Is he coming?" Angel asked.

[KellyKelly]

"He's on his way" Kelly told

[Angel]

Angel nodded.

"Okay." Angel said.

[KellyKelly]

"Yeah, he'll be here" Kelly assured her

[Angel]

Angel nodded and moaned a little as her pain took over.

[Brian Kendrick]

Brian took Angel's hand, rubbing it with his thumb.

"It's okay baby." Brian whispered.

[Angel]

Angel let a few tears slip down her cheeks.

"I don't wanna fight anymore Brian, I just wanna give up." Angel whimpered.

[KellyKelly]

"ANgel don't say that" Kelly told

[Cody Rhodes]

"You can't give up, you promised me... remember" Cody spoke, walking into the room.

[Angel]

Angel sighed.

"I know." Angel said.

She turned to Cody tears falling slowly from her fever glazed eyes. She let her hand fall over the railing on the side of the bed as she motioned for him to come sit beside her. She needed the safety and comfort he gave her.
