Shane sat in the living room of his North Carolina Mansion with his whining two years old soon Kyle. Both Shane and Kyle had, been having a rough week,. Kyle was experiencing his first ever flu, and because of the pain couldn't stop crying, and Shane hated seeing his son he had been raising alone in so much pain...

"Come one little guy its okay" Shane said rocking a sick Kyle in his arms "Times like this I wish your mother were around" Shane said "But, then again nows not the time for any of her stupid comments or mistakes

Shane and Velvet split right after Kyle was born, and Shane gained full custody of their son since Velvet couldn't handle the responsibilties of being a mother.

Shane sat in the living room roocking Kyle when he heard a knock on the door.

Still with Kyle in his arms he went to open it and was shocked at who he was standing there....

Velvet was shocked to see her and Shane's so crying the place down. Velvet took time off work because of some issues. She had been sent to rehab by her father but was released a month ago.

"Hi" she said staring at Shane.

Shane continued to stare at the blonde in shock. He hadn't seen or heard from her in almost two years, and he never expected this day to come, so his expression showed he wasn't prepared.

"Sky" Shane manged to say "Um...what are you doing here..." he asked rocking a suddenly calm Kyle

"Well.. we're good" Shane answered calmly a moment of silence went by as Shane and Sky stood face to face for the first time in years.

"Welll....... have you been getting the money my daddy was sending to Kyle?" she asked.

Velvet turend to face Shane. She bit er lip gently before saying.

"Because i miss you" she told. She then looked at Kyle.

"I miss both of you" she confessed.

Shane eyes widened at the confession. He didn't know what to believe. He had been raising Shane on his own for two years with the help of Jeff and Melina. Melina had always kept Shane updated on Sky, since Melina considered Sky a very close friend, she had told Shane that Velvet has matured alot, but Shane was hearing it to he seen it for himself.

He had to admit, she didn't apper to be a ditzy as she use to be that the only thing that kept him from not slamming the door on her face....

Shane continued to stared "Come in...." he finally said

Velvet walked into the home and stared at Shane.

"Like im sooooo sorry for screwing up" she told.

"So a simple apology is suppose to make us forget everythibng" Shane said sitting Kyle in his play pin

"Well ofcourse not. I didn't come to make up i came to apologize" she said.

"So you still don't want nothing to do with us" Shane said getting offensive

"No ofcourse i do" she said a bit hurt that Shane would even think that.

Shane looked at Kyle then back at Sky "To be honest Kyle missed you too. He needs his mother" Shane said "I'm not saying we have to be in a relationship "I'm just really stressed with doing this alone, and he needs you, and I want him to have a mother" Shane confessed

But do you want to be in a relationship?" she asked.

Shane looked down. Truth was he missed Sky more than anything. And it was really hard to just stand there and act as though he dosen't care for her any more. She looked good, she looked as though she mature, and she seemed very genuine. He just hope his extincts wasn't wrong.

"I don't know Sky" Shane simply said "How do I know you're not the same old immature irresponsible Velvet" he asked

Velvet laughed a bit.

"If you saw my brake down you would know" she said.

"Like when we split i went clubbing every night and tried to drown my sorrows. Then my daddy sent me to rehab and that made me think" she confessed.

"I was like I shouldn't be in here im not mad. And then i knew i had to grow up"

Shane smiled and missed all of Sky likes in every other word."Sky...would you like to have dinner with me and Kyle tonight" he asked

Velvet just ran and hugged Shane.

"Like duh" she laughed.

Shane smiled and shared Velvet's hug. It felt so good to have her back in his arms after to long painful years. "I missed you Sky" Shane said hugging her tighter and closer

"I missed you to" she said hugging him even tighter not wanting to let go.

"Just please don't fucked up again, Kyle can take it and neither can I" Shane confessed
