Torrie looked at the marble floor, with tears in her eyes. She felt Trish's hand gently brush across her shoulder while Torrie continued to wait outside while the doctors checked over her and John's daughter Kayla Marie Cena.

"She shouldn't have got in the way Trish" Torrie muttered.

Kayla just squeezed John's hand. "Strong like you dad," She muttered, through her tears.

Kayla stared at John, then saw the liquid sprint out of the needle while the doctor flicked the syringe.

"I'm not like you," Kayla uttered, with tears falling on the pillow.

Kayla stared into John's eyes, she squeezed his hand when the needle was pressed into her right arm.

Kayla relaxed in the bed, feeling the pain relief inject in her arm.

"Well done sweetheart," The doctor spoke.

John smiled at Kayla, stroking her blonde hair.

"Great gob sweetie, I told you that you're just as strong as me. Now your mother would be freaking out now if she had to get a syringe put in her arm." John said.

Kayla looked at John, before she giggled slightly.

"You trying to say mom isn't strong?" She asked John.

"She is just not when it comes to needles." John said.

"So I'm more brave than mom is?" Kayla asked with a smile.

"Yeah I would say so but don't tell her I said that." John said.

"Okay but why?" Kayla asked before she giggled weakily.

"Because she'll get mad at me." John said.

Kayla looked at John, before she smiled. "Okay well I won't tell her, your secret is safe with me" Torrie spoke with she smiled.

She sat up slightly and hugged John.

Kayla smiled, before she hugged John gently.

"Of course you can, you know I think my braveness deserves a present," Kayla spoke with a smile at John.

"What do you want?" John asked.

John took a breath in before he grinned back, and stroked Kayla's blonde hair "Ok"

"What do you want anything?" John asked.

"Mom," Kayla said while she laid back on the pillow feeling tired.

"Are you going to be okay by yourself if I go get your mom?" John asked.

"Yeah," Kayla spoke as she slowly nodded her head.

"Okay." John said before he went to the waiting room.

Torrie's head was down, while her fingers ruffled through her blonde locks sitting on the chair in the waiting room while Trish read a magazine to pass the time.

"Tor." John said trying to get her attention.

Like a shining light, Torrie heard John's voice through her ears. She turned to see John sitting down by her, she leaned over and just hugged John ever so tight.
