John walked down the corridor, seeing where the doctors went. He opened the door and just stood when he saw Torrie laid on the table asleep with the monitor beeping showing the danger she was in.

Torrie laid on the table, motionless.

Once John turned his back he heard a different kind of beep that chilled him to the bone. It was like once he turned away, Torrie's heart just stopped at the same time.
