Torrie looked at John before he touched his chest feeling his heart rise.

Torrie's eyelashes perked up before she looked at John.

"If you promise, to keep that heart beating" Torrie spoke while her hand stayed on John's chest.

Torrie took her hand off John's chest as she lowered back down.

"You'll be taken away from me..." Torrie muttered, with tears falling from her eyes.

John stared at Torrie, and had the urge to put Torrie's hand back on his chest.

"No I won't." John said sternly.

Torrie looked at John as she felt her right hand on John's chest.

"What do you feel Torrie?"

"Your...heart" Torrie muttered gently, as she felt John's body rise everytime he breathed.

John let out a deep but soft breath. "Torrie...honey, look life is filled with surprises it's the unexpected you never know what could happen...okay tomorrow....I could go out and get hit down by a bus" John said.

Torrie's eyes widned with tears.

"Not saying it's gonna happen" John said.

Torrie looked at him as she stayed in his arms.

"But anything can happen, life is just...one big ride you never know where or what you're gonna deal with and no matter what this life can throw at me I'll always be right there for you" John spoke, while Torrie just stayed on his chest feeling his steady heartbeat.

Torrie looked at John as she softly nodded her head.

"It's just sometimes in life, you gonna have to lose Torrie but you get knocked down but you can't break because I won't let you"

"Now you're giving me quotes from the climb" Torrie giggled, since it's working.

Torrie softly giggled still with tears in her eyes before she looked at John.

"Now let me be strong for both of us"

Torrie nodded as she came closer, and wrapped her arms around his neck "John?" She softly spoke.

Torrie smiled faintly at John.

"I love you too" Torrie spoke.

Just then the rain started to stop, Torrie looked up at the sky while John held her hand much to say no matter how much the rain pours and how bad it is..it always stops and finds a new day for the sun to shine.
